Cookie Policy

Below is our Website’s policy on the use of cookies and allowing visitors/users to manage their preferences in relation to them.

About Cookies

Cookies are small text files with information, which are stored by the server of a website on the terminal device (computer, mobile phone, etc.) of a visitor/user while browsing it. The website retrieves this information on each visit in order to offer related services. A typical example of such information is the user’s preferences on a web page, as indicated by the choices he makes on it (e.g. selection of specific “buttons”, searches, etc.).

According to article 4 par. 5 of Law 3471/2006, storing or gaining access to stored information on the user’s terminal equipment is only permitted if the specific user has given his consent after clear and extensive information. An exception to the obligation to obtain consent, according to the above paragraph, is the case of storing and accessing information whose sole purpose is “to carry out the transmission of a communication via an electronic communications network or is necessary for the provision of an information society service, which the user or subscriber has expressly requested”. Essentially, the user’s consent is not required for cookies which are considered technically necessary to connect to the website or to provide the internet service.

Cookies may be installed by the provider of the website visited by the user (first party cookies) or by others through the provider of the website visited by the user (third party cookies).

Cookies Management

You can set your internet browser in such a way that it warns you about the use of cookies and does not allow their acceptance under any circumstances. In this case, some services and functions may not work. Of course, not choosing this setting is not interpreted as your willingness to accept all cookies without exception.

You can still delete all cookies already on your device by clearing your browser’s browsing history. This will delete all cookies from all websites visited by that browser. However, please note that some saved information (e.g. saved login information, website preferences) may also be lost.

To manage and disable cookies, you can follow the relevant instructions for each type of browser:

Preferences Management

The management of your preferences for cookies can be done through the subsections of this page as well as the cookie banner, which is always available in the bottom right corner of our website.

For any information regarding the use of cookies on our behalf, you can contact dataprotection@hellofood.gr.

On our Website, we use the cookies that are necessary to maintain the connection of users to its online services and to save the choices of users/visitors in relation to optional cookies (“Necessary”). Cookies are also installed to connect users to our online services and in the context of their authentication.

Information is then provided for each type of cookies and the possibility for the visitor/user to manage their preferences regarding their use. By default, the pre-selection of optional cookies is disabled and activated only with a positive action of the visitor/user.
